I want to rave about the honesty of your sales staff. Never having purchased carpet before, I didn't quite know what I should get nor how much to pay for it. Before coming to Lux, I walked into a couple of stores in the area. Everywhere I went I felt like I was at a used car dealership; everyone tried to haggle, negotiate, and pressure me to sign on the spot when all I really wanted was a fair and honest estimate. Frustrated with all the nonsense, I asked my old realtor about any good flooring companies. That was when I was introduced to Lux. The first time I met your salesmen I was just elated to see how sincere and honest he was. The published price list was a welcome breath of fresh air too. I finally felt comfortable knowing the actual price of the products and understanding exactly what I was paying for. Thanks again for the new carpet. As you know, we contracted with you to replace the flooring throughout our townhome. I just wanted to take the time to let you know how pleased we were with the job that your team did.
The experience started with a spur-of-the moment, quick stop at the showroom. [The Lux Sales Rep] was extremely professional, courteous, and most importantly – helpful. He asked many questions to find out exactly what we wanted.
Next, [he] came by to measure and brought samples to our home. He had worked hard to find a very specific type and style of hardwood for our main floor. The detailed work he did with the measurements paved the way for a smooth installation. Again, he asked many questions and listened to our thoughts. He had several recommendation as guided us well throughout the process. His attention to detail was much appreciated.
When it was time to schedule the installation, he accommodated us in every way and was bale to work around another project going on in our basement. The carpet installation for the basement and bedrooms went very smoothly. The team did excellent work and completed the jobs quickly. They were diligent and professional. After the crew was finished they asked me where to place the furniture and made sure it was just right.
The hardwood installation was a huge job because we included the stairs from the foyer up to the second floor. We also had some “tricky” areas: a chipped fireplace hearth, a small powder room, and some small nooks in the kitchen. With [Lux Employee] as the crew chief, the team did a fantastic job. They were industrious and meticulous in terms of laying out the wood and making sure it was installed properly. Each one of our “special requests” was honored. Everyone worked hard to make sure we were pleased with the work. We had to solve some problems “in the moment” and they had good suggestions. When the hardwood installation was complete, everything was moved back into place. [Lux Crew Chief] even helped put felt on the legs of a large piece of furniture so it would not scratch the floor.
Having all of the flooring replaced in our home was a big project. I spoke with [Lux Sales Rep] at length every day during installation and he was extremely patient. He even stopped by to check how things were going.
Now when people come to visit the first thing they notice are the floors and how beautiful they are. I tell everyone about the superb customer service we received from Lux. The staff at Lux went above and beyond to make this a great experience.

The various specialty crews worked diligently and efficiently to finish the job ahead of schedule. My floors turned out amazing.
